چکیده
The Internet of Things (IoT) brings connectivity to devices and everyday objects. This huge volume connected has be managed taking into account the severe energy, memory, processing, communication constraints IoT networks. In this context, OMA LightweightM2M (LWM2M) protocol is designed for remote management constrained devices, related service enablement, through a server usually deployed in distant cloud data center. Following Edge Computing paradigm, we propose work introduction LWM2M Proxy that at network edge, between servers. On one hand, improves various procedures whereas, on other it enables support QoS-aware services provided by allowing implementation advanced policies efficiently use network, computing, storage (i.e., cache) resources thus providing benefits terms reduced more predictable end-to-end latency. We evaluate proposed solution both simulation experimentally, showing can strongly improve performance QoS system.

SpEED-IoT: Spectrum aware energy efficient routing for device-to-device IoT communication
In order to meet the growing demands for high-throughput, cost-effective, and energy efficient solution for the emerging device-to-device (D2D) based Internet of Things (IoT) communication, Dynamic Spectrum Access (DSA) and sharing based protocols have been proposed. However, due to the temporal and spatial transience of spectrum utilization by licensed incumbents, optimal spectrum resource man...
متن کاملAutomatic QoS-aware Web Services Composition based on Set-Cover Problem
By definition, web-services composition works on developing merely optimum coordination among a number of available web-services to provide a new composed web-service intended to satisfy some users requirements for which a single web service is not (good) enough. In this article, the formulation of the automatic web-services composition is proposed as several set-cover problems and an approxima...
متن کاملEdge-based QoS provisioning for point-to-set assured services
In this paper we propose an edge-based quality of service architecture aimed at site-to-site private networks over the Internet. We extend the traditional point-to-point service model to a point-to-set service model, assuming a finite, bounded set of destination sites. A point-to-set service allows a user to have a pool of premium tokens, which could be flexibly assigned to traffic going toward...
متن کاملQoS-Predictions Service: Infrastructural Support for Proactive QoS- and Context-Aware Mobile Services (Position Paper)
Today’s mobile data applications aspire to deliver services to a user anywhere anytime while fulfilling his Quality of Service (QoS) requirements. However, the success of the service delivery heavily relies on the QoS offered by the underlying networks. As the services operate in a heterogeneous networking environment, we argue that the generic information about the networks’ offered-QoS may en...
متن کاملAn Automated Profiling Subsystem for QoS-Aware Services
The advent of QoS-sensitive Internet applications such as multimedia, the inception of priced online services, and the proliferation of performance-critical applications such as online trading raise a need for building server systems with guaranteed performance. Unlike embedded software systems designed for a particular special-purpose platform, the new applications should be designed to run on...
